ABTA Academic Scholarship Fund

 

The ABTA Academic Scholarship Fund was established to assist the applicant to pursue higher education and continue in Baton activities. This fund provides assistance to coaches and athletes attending post secondary or trade institutions or other training programs.

 

Eligibility

Applicant must be involved in the ABTA and/or have been involved for the past five (5) years and hold a current ABTA membership.

 

Recognized Programs

Applicant must be currently attending an accredited post secondary institution trade school as approved by the Scholarship Committee.

 

Scholarship Award - $100.00 - $500.00

  Maximum award of $500.00 per applicant, per year, with a maximum of 2 years.

  The actual scholarship paid out will be subject to the number of applicants received and the involvement of the   applicant in Baton Twirling within the Province of Alberta at the time.

  The amounts paid will be the sole discretion and decision of the Financial Board of the Scholarship Fund.

Applicants must include a copy of official marks an transcripts and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or B equivalent.
